FT242 NOBODY'S CHILDREN "Keep Away" box set (4 x cassette). Hermitage Tapes & Fag Tapes duo of Andrew Coltrane & Heath Moerland. Long rehearsal sessions straight to 4-track. Basement or attic. Beer & weed watching with locked eyes over th' session, making sure everything is alright with the synths, percussion, guitars, tapes, amps, room vibe ace. Bookshelves filed with amazing literature soaking up sound waves & reading the air to ensure that th' players were truly zoned. Each side of th' tapes, however, are not just filled with side long jams. Instead, they are flowed with tracks. Please keep away from nobody's children. They mind their own business. RARE. Less than 15 of these were made and I no longer have a copy. I only have the two main master tapes that are included in every box set - the two tapes NOT included here are raw, source tapes, each unique to each box set. These tapes were raw, outstanding, secretive shines behind th' curtain of what Nobody's Children had up their sleeves. Sirens of war. Hand painted. Hand numbered edition /11?

"Whatever It Takes" is an amazing piece of composed experimental/industrial/(post-)harsh noise music. I thoroughly enjoy the compositions as they seem to have been carefully crafted and involve several different techniques ranging from something that sounds like a raw, crude no-input mixer feedback, distorted harsh noise textures and layers of heavy synth. It's also great to see yet another noise artist experiment with the use of minimal melody which adds to the haunting atmosphere of the album. Dawid Scumwalski
